The Bode City Council met in a special session Tuesday May 27, 2025, at 5:30PM in the council chambers. All the members were present, also present Tom Madden our engineer for the sewer project. Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order. A motion was made by Tepner, second by Miller to approve the agenda as posted. All ayes, motion carried.
This being the time and place at which the council shall receive oral or written objections from any resident or property owner of the city concerning the 2024-2025 City Budget Amendment. No written objections had been placed on file; there were no taxpayers present for the hearing. Therefore, a motion was made by Fulwider; second Miller to adopt resolution #2025-08; A Resolution amending the current city budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. ROLL CALL: Ayes, Fulwider, Miller, Hasfjord, McKenna, and Tepner.
Tom Madden updated the council on the progress of the sewer project.
Pay request #1 to Doyle Construction was reviewed. This request in the amount of $128,646.15 (this includes a 5% retention) including Mobilization, pavement removal, spot repair by replacement, backfill, and replacement of service wye, 8”x4”, and temporary traffic control. Following review, a motion was made by Tepner, second by Miller to approve this pay request.
Pay request #1 to Midwest Injection was reviewed. This request in the amount of $112,100 (this includes a 5% retention) including sludge removal and disposal at our lagoon. Following review, a motion was made by Miller, second by Hasfjord to approve this pay request.
A motion was made by Tepner, second by Miller to adjourn @ 6pm.
